I remember leaving a Boot Camp class in the Performance and Fitness Academy and feeling deflated. My energy levels were at an all-time low and I was beginning to get dizzy spells in the gym.
I knew I had to make a change in order to see progress in my training, so I joined Philly’s nutrition group in February. I spoke with Philly about my energy levels and my training and I remember him saying ‘We need to make carbs your friend Ro’.
Since the talk, my relationship with food has totally changed.
I learned a great deal about macro nutrients (carbs and protein are now most definitely my friends) and meal planning. I began planning my meals every day and was eating more than I have ever eaten before.
I am enjoying cooking and eating and for the first time in a long time I am beginning to see results in my training and body composition. Not only am I feeling stronger and fitter, I have also seen huge changes in my energy levels in the gym, work and in my daily life.
I am so delighted that I joined the nutrition group. Philly’s knowledge and guidance has been invaluable and I will most definitely continue this lifestyle far into the future.
