Scale weight is going to be main measure of success for almost everyone when they try to lose weight, but it only tells part of the story. Short term changes in weight need to be understood as these can really throw people off, but once you do understand what is happening in your body and why certain things may happen (a small jump in weight) then you'll start to remove the emotion that has been long attached to the number on the scales.
The important thing to note is that short term weight change can be unpredictable but this is irrelevant if you're sticking to your targets. The general trend longer time will go the right way.
Take progress pics separated by months, do the right things, don't stress over short term scale weight (a shift in body water is usually the culprit).
Key Points.
