Today's topic is on alcohol and fat loss. If you're someone who likes a few drinks at the weekend it can be doable to maintain your weight if you've got all your other ducks lined up.
When it comes to fat loss, you are making your life extremely difficult by consuming alcohol during this period of time (remember, a fat loss attempt is best done as a set block of time).
If you want to go out and party every weekend of the 6 week programme I can say with almost certainty that your progress will be minimal, if any. This also counts for sitting in a having a few drinks at home.
I'm not saying 'never, ever drink'. It's just that realistically, regular alcohol consumption and fat loss don't mix. Outside of fat loss phases it's much easier to fit in a few sociable ones.
