Today's topic is on alcohol and fat loss. If you're someone who likes a few drinks at the weekend it can be doable to maintain your weight if you've got all your other ducks lined up.
When it comes to fat loss, you are making your life extremely difficult by consuming alcohol. If you want to go out every weekend of the 6 week programme I can say with almost certainty that your progress will be minimal, if any.
You'll quickly learn that alcohol is energy dense, provides nothing in terms of nutrition, regular over consumption can impact health, and it will have a ripple affect (a negative one) in the days after when it comes to filling in your tracking sheet.
Realistically, regular alcohol consumption and fat loss don't mix. Outside of fat loss phases it's much easier to fit in a few sociable ones.
