The answer is yes, but there are obviously some boundaries.
Generally the food you find in restaurants is going to be quite calorie dense (there's a reason it tastes so good). A lot of dishes are saucy, contain lots of butter or cream, are fried, or just have some combination of all of these to bump up the overall calorie total.
The key here is realistically you cannot do this every day, or even several times a week, unless you are very, very adept with your nutrition and other lifestyle factors.
