Today's post is a short one on how to gain muscle. It covers the principles, but the most important reason for learning about this is the positive impact muscle has on health. Muscle mass plays a large role in good health especially as we age. Part of the reason behind this is that muscle mass declines over time if we are not active.

Many people fear lifting weights because they think they'll put on muscle too easily. The reality is it's tough to do and takes a long time. You need to train consistently over years and years to make changes to your body. 

That fear about putting too much muscle on keeps people away from something which is very valuable to their health, and it also keeps them far from their body composition goals.
